Day 1 Windhoek
Upon your arrival in Windhoek today, you will be taken to your lodge, where you will spend the night before embarking on your journey the next day.

Day 2 Namib Desert Lodge (256 km)
Pan Lion Safaris will collect you from your accommodation at Town Lodge Hotel in Windhoek,where you will embark on a scenic drive through the Hochland Highlands. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. You’ll arrive at Namib Desert Lodge in the mid-afternoon, where you’ll stay for two nights as you explore the breathtaking sights of the Namib Desert with your guide. Upon arrival, your safari adventure begins with a sunset excursion to the Pink Fridge.

Day 3 Namib Desert
This morning, after an early wake-up call, you will meet in the lobby for breakfast. Leaving early to join the queue at the entrance of Namib Naukluft Park allows you to visit Dune 45, Big Daddy, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon. This early start offers the perfect opportunity to capture the dunes while the light is soft; accentuating their towering shapes and curves. You will have an incredible experience climbing Big Daddy, the highest dune at Sossusvlei. After exploring Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the surrounding dune fields, you will return to the lodge in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your day after the Sossusvlei excursion.

Day 4 Namib Desert to Swakopmund (Coast) (298.6km)
This morning, after breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive northwest through the stunning and ever-changing desert landscapes of Namib Naukluft National Park, passing through the impressive Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyons via the Kuiseb Pass. Your journey will lead you to the coast at the port town of Walvis Bay. Upon arrival in Walvis Bay, your guide will drop you off for the Sandwich Harbour excursion. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit the flamingos and the pink lake. Sandwich Harbour, part of Namib Naukluft Park, offers a scenic 4×4 drive along the Walvis Bay Lagoon and the salt mines. After the activities, you will return to the waterfront before continuing your drive to Swakopmund.

Day 5 Swakopmund
This Morning: Since you requested some personal time today, the schedule has been kept flexible. You have the option to enjoy a quad bike ride in either the morning or late afternoon. You can discuss your preferred timing with your guide.

Day 6 Swakopmund to Damaraland (332km)
Today: Your safari continues as you journey north and east into the diverse landscapes of Damaraland, taking in the area’s marvelous scenery. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to visit a shipwreck and the Cape Cross seal colony. Your journey will take you through the Skeleton Coast Park, where you can admire the unique beauty of the Welwitschia mirabilis, one of the world’s oldest and most remarkable plants. As you travel, you will enjoy the spectacular landscapes and stunning views that Damaraland has to offer. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge, nestled among massive granite boulders. Once settled in, your guide will take you to explore nearby attractions, including the geological sites of the prehistoric Twyfelfontein rock engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 7 Damaraland to Etosha National Park (323 km)
After an early breakfast, you will embark on an exciting 4×4 excursion through the ephemeral Aba Huab and Huab River valleys, exploring this remarkable region in search of wildlife, including the elusive desert-adapted elephants, especially prevalent during this season. Following your adventure, you will be driven to Etosha National Park, with a stop at the Petrified Forest en route. Upon arriving at Etosha National Park, if time permits, you can enjoy a night drive to experience the park’s nocturnal wildlife.
Overnight: Okaukuejo Resort
Day 8 Etosha National Park
Today is dedicated to a full day of exciting game viewing within the central section of Etosha National Park from your own private vehicle. You will return in the late afternoon, just before sunset, when the gates close at Okaukuejo Resort. After dinner, you can enjoy spectacular game viewing at the resort’s floodlit waterhole, where you may spot some rhinos.

Day 9 Etosha National Park to Windhoek ( 414km )
After breakfast, you will check out and then continue your safari with a visit to a Himba village to learn about their culture. After the visit you will drive back to Windhoek, your guide will drop you off to your accommodation, which is Windhoek Town Lodge.

Day 10 Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport

Today your guide will transfer you to the Hosea Kutako International Airport.
